Frequently Asked Questions

What will we cover in the demo?

Your ThriftCart demo will be tailored to your store, but most thrift and nonprofit operators want to see color discounting, donation intake and scheduling, roundup donations, and inventory management for unique one-of-a-kind items. If reporting for your board, multi-location management, or volunteer training are priorities, mention them when you book and your rep will make sure they're part of the walkthrough.

Will I need to buy new hardware?

Not necessarily. ThriftCart is compatible with most existing hardware, making an upgrade easy if you need it but not required from day one.

Should I prepare anything for my demo?

No prep required — but coming in with a few things in mind can make it more valuable for you. If you can, think about:

  • How many locations you're operating
  • Your biggest day-to-day pain points (checkout speed, donor intake, inventory, reporting, etc.)
  • Any software you're currently using that you'd want ThriftCart to replace or integrate with
  • Questions from your team — if your staff has concerns or wish-list features, bring those along
